Volunteer Opportunity: School LAND Trust Committee

We are in need of parent volunteers interested in running for a position on the School LAND Trust committee. This committee runs just like a board does, having a chairperson, and regular meetings. The job of the committee is to draw up and edit a proposal for how to best use School LAND trust monies given to Quail Run by the state. The 2012 amount could be as much as $20,000. The committee will work with at least one teacher or administrator of the school. There will be a formal election held the second week of April to determine who will fill the open spots.
